Easton Composite Squadron – MD079

December 5 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm at

The Bryan Brothers Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce Easton Composite Squadron (MD-079), Maryland Civil Air Patrol as a 2018 grant recipient.  The grant was issued in support their ongoing effort to teach leadership, community service and provide hands-on challenging experiences to participating cadets. Easton Composite Squadron was presented the grant during a fundraising event at Doc’s Downtown Grille in Easton, Maryland.

Cadets of the Easton extension of the Civil Air Patrol learn leadership and community service through participating a numerous volunteers efforts in our area. Cadets are primary volunteers at the Easton Airport Day and help at the Easton Waterfowl Festival, Wreaths Across America and part of Flags for Hero’s. The squadron meets every Wednesday at the Easton YMCA form 7-9PM and welcomes new cadets and seniors to join the exceptional program.

“At Easton Composite Squadron, we share the Mission of the Bryan Brothers Foundation. The emphasis of the squadron is our youth development,” says 1st Lt. Aric Rosenbach, Commander of Easton Composite Squadron. “We provide the environment for the young cadets with exposure to aviation, character development and emphasis on STEM related topics. Our seniors, in addition, to taking cadets on orientation flights interact, support and mentor our cadets. Since one of our pillars is community service, we participate in many activities outside our normal Squadron activities.”

Easton Composite Squadron also presented The Bryan Brother’s Foundation with a Certificate of Appreciate from the organization for their outstanding assistance to the program.

“The squadron also supplements cadet activities with trips and visits to aviation related venues,” continues Rosenbach. “This past year, our cadets visited and participated in Pentagon Tour, Glider flights, NAS Oceania Airshow, Encampment and Maryland Wing Convention.”
